Information visitors provide

When you contact Plexo, request access, ask for support, submit a media inquiry, sign in, or use an account workflow, Plexo may process information such as your name, email address, organization, role, message content, authentication state, and related operational metadata.

Do not send sensitive third-party information through public contact channels unless Plexo has asked for it through an appropriate written agreement or controlled workflow.

Technical and browser data

Plexo may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the public site, such as page views, referrers, approximate device and browser information, error signals, timestamps, IP-derived security signals, and similar log data.

The site may also use browser storage for theme preferences, reader preferences, navigation state, share-link state, feature preview state, account/session state, and other lightweight site operation needs.

Analytics and service providers

Code inspection on May 29, 2026 found Supabase used for backend, authentication, and data services; Umami analytics conditionally loaded when enabled; and Cloudflare visible as CDN, security, and proxy infrastructure in live responses.

Plexo did not find Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PostHog, Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, Sentry, Datadog, Microsoft Clarity, Meta pixel, LinkedIn insight tag, or ad-retargeting pixels in the inspected public app code.

Plexo may also use hosting, email, support, security, and communication providers as needed to operate the site and respond to requests.

How Plexo uses information

Plexo uses personal and technical information to operate the public site, authenticate account workflows, respond to inquiries, process media or support requests, improve public materials, understand aggregate site usage, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and protect Plexo rights.

Plexo does not currently use the public site for third-party behavioral advertising, retargeting pixels, or selling visitor data.

Legal bases for EU and UK visitors

Where EU or UK privacy law applies, Plexo may rely on one or more lawful bases depending on the context: consent, performance of a contract or pre-contract request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, compliance with legal obligations, or protection of legal claims.

Analytics and non-essential storage should be handled consistently with the Cookie Policy and any consent controls that apply to the visitor.

Sharing and transfers

Plexo may share information with service providers that help operate the site, secure infrastructure, provide analytics, manage authentication, host data, or respond to communications. Plexo may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, security needs, or to protect rights and safety.

Because Plexo and its providers may operate in multiple countries, information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, Plexo will use appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers.

Retention

Plexo keeps personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice, including site operation, support, security, analytics, legal obligations, dispute handling, and records management.

Retention periods can vary by data type, relationship, legal requirement, and operational need. Browser storage can often be cleared directly through your browser settings.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. You may also be able to complain to a privacy regulator.

To make a privacy request, contact [email protected]. Plexo may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Children and security

The public site is not intended for children. Plexo does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the public site.

Plexo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no website, network, or data transmission is perfectly secure.

Changes and contact

Plexo may update this Privacy Notice as the site, providers, laws, or business practices change. The updated date on this page will show when the notice was last revised.

Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
